When you place an order with Beanstalkkids our order form requires that our customers provide us with certain contact information (such as name, address, shipping information if different, payment information, and e-mail address). We use this customer-supplied information to provide an order confirmation, process your order, ensure that the requested product is shipped promptly, and provide information about our company. The contact information may also be used to contact customers should questions about orders arise.
If you register with Beanstalkkids' Gift Registry our registration form requires that you provide us with certain contact information (such as name, address, shipping information and e-mail address). Please note that by registering with our gift registry you are making certain basic information about yourself publicly available ( e.g., your name and your product choices) in much the same way that you would if you registered at a conventional "bricks ad mortar" store. Beanstalkkids cannot be responsible for any use or misuse of this information by third parties. Visitors to the Gift Registry may also be required to provide certain contact information (such as name and e-mail address). We use this registration information to send a visitor to the Gift Registry information about our the gift choices that a registrant has made and to provide information about our company. We may also use the contact information provide to our Gift Registry contact a registrant or visitor, e.g. concerning questions about orders made or items selected on the Gift Registry. When a visitor to our Gift Register purchase a gift, we will collect the same information as we would form a customer ordering a product for themselves, as well as the necessary information about the intended recipient of the gift.
The Beanstakkids.com website is designed to allow you to place an order for our products as a gift for someone else and have it shipped to them, and/or for our products to shipped to an address other than your home address. Our website allows you to send information about a product or products you have seen on our site to a friend via an e-mail . We store this type of information (such as name and address) so that you do not have to reenter it each time you make a purchase or log in. Credit card numbers are encrypted and forwarded to a third party authorization company. No one has access to your credit card information and it is kept secure at all times (YOU MAY NEED TO CHANGE THIS IF IT DOES NOT MATCH YOUR ACTUAL PRACTICE.
It is our pledge to you that every online transaction you make with us should be 100% safe. The Fair Credit Billing Act provides that your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of any fraudulent charges made on your credit card. If your bank does attempt to hold you liable for any of this $50.00 on account of a fraudulent purchase made on our website, Beanstalkkids will cover the entire liability for you, up to a maximum of the full $50.00 limit. We can only cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own and from purchases made while using our secure server. Should you discover an unauthorized use of your credit card, you must promptly notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
